Support And Defend The Constitution
What follows is the Oath of Office taken by every Senator prior to being seated in the Senate of the United States of America.
“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.”

All of the Republican names above should be targeted for replacement with conservative Republicans in their next election cycle. The Democrat names above with an asterisk beside their names live in red states and should be targeted for replacement with conservative Republicans in their next election cycle.
These Senators are being hailed as heroes who have saved the rules of the Senate, and paved the way for the Senate to continue it’s work. The issue is not the “rules of the Senate”. The issue is the Constitution. These senators are labeled moderates which is supposed to give them “special” status somehow.
Those who carry the label of moderate, are simply people who do not have the ability or guts to think and make decisions on their own. They listen to the loudest and most persuasive voice, and vote with who they consider to be the majority. The loudest voice could be a bogus poll put out by the MSM, it could be a fellow Senator, it could be the number of phone calls received in their office. The point is, they don’t adhere to the constitution when making their duty bound decisions.
It is time for the voting public to admonish them, by withholding financial support for their re-election, by organizing and supporting a viable candidate to replace them, and to overwhelm them with communications to that effect.

You be the judge as to whether these Senators have defied the Constitution, and broken their oaths of office.
This is not over! Please flood Senate Majority Leader Frist’s office, urging him to force a vote on all of President Bush’s nominees, and force a real filibuster to those not acceptable by the above fourteen.
He has not signed on to this bogus compromise, and can still bring this to a constitutional conclusion.
